WWE Elimination Chamber 2021: Live updates, results and match ratings

February 22, 2021 0 By boss

We don’t know what championshop Edge will challenge for at WrestleMania following his WrestleMania win, but we’ll probably find out at Elimination Chamber. The pay-per-view, airing live on the WWE Network right now, will feature two Elimination Chamber matches. Drew McIntyre will defend his WWE Championship in one (against Seamus, Kofi Kingston, Jeff Hardy, Randy Orton and AJ Styles), while a SmackDown Chamber (Daniel Bryan, Cesaro, Sami Zayn, Jey Uso, Baron Corbin and Kevin Owens) will decide who faces Roman Reigns later in the night for his Universal Championship.

Bobby Lashley will also defend his United States Championship in a triple threat match, while Shayna Baszler and Nia Jax put their Women’s Tag Team Championships on the line against Bianca Belair and Sasha Banks.

Check back to this page when the main show starts, at 4 p.m PT/7 p.m ET, as I’ll be updating with results and analysis.

SmackDown Elimination Chamber

The first bout of the main show is SmackDown’s Elimination Chamber match, featuring Daniel Bryan, Jey Uso, Baron Corbin, Kevin Owens, Sami Zayn and Cesaro. The winner gets a shot at Roman Reigns’ Universal Championship later tonight. Daniel Bryan and Cesaro are starting things off, with one wrestler being released from a pod every five minutes.

I’m predicting this will be the best match of the night.

After a rock-solid few minutes of wrestling between Bryan and Cesaro, including a wicked armbar counter by Bryan, Corbin is the third to enter the Chamber match. He takes down both Cesaro and Bryan, and works over Bryan’s knee — expect that to factor into the story later.

Sami Zayn is the fourth to enter the Chamber. The first elimination came minutes later, when Corbin tapped out to Cesaro’s Sharpshooter.

Jey Uso is the fourth and final competitor to join the match, and is immediately targeted by Kevin Owens. After Owens brawls with Uso, Owens stuns and pins Sami Zayn in the middle of the ring. Zayn is the second to be eliminated. Uso then traps Owens’ arm in the Chamber door and btlizes him with multiple superkicks. He then hits another in the middle of the ring, and eliminates Owens with a top-rope splash.

Kickoff Show results

John Morrison defeated Ricochet, Elias and Ali to win a spot in the triple-threat match United States Championship on the main show. Bobby Lashley will now defend his US title against Morrison and Riddle.

Morrison won the match by rolling up Ali while Ali was distracted by his Retribution faction powerbombing Ricochet on the outside.
