In normal times, it wouldn’t be this hard to get your hands on the new video game console, but after a year of coronavirus-related restrictions, demand for new game systems is still at an all-time high. For the most part, thecontinues to be sold out at all major retailers, but there is good news — we have seen it reappear at a number of stores in recent weeks — albeit before selling out rapidly. It’s true that the might be the in US history, but the Xbox can’t be that far behind.
As of March 20, there are no Xbox consoles available for purchase at regular retail prices in either of its configurations. The $500 Xbox Series X is the gaming console of choice for 4K video and 120Hz refresh rates, though if you don’t have a 4K TV, thecosts a much more reasonable $300. Regardless of which one you want, though, no stores have any regular inventory to sell you.

Are you willing to pay a premium of hundreds of dollars over the list price? We don’t recommend doing that, but StockX is a reputable eBay-style site that will let you buy a new Xbox — as long as you’re willing to pay $650 or more.
