HYDERABAD: Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) chief N Uttam Kumar Reddy on Monday said that politics has become completely commercial. Addressing the media after the meeting on MLC elections he said Congress had fielded two very good candidates.
“Our MLC candidate Ramulu Naik for Warangal, Nalgonda is from a very humble background and has done PhD,” he said.
“Other candidate for MLC (Hyderabad, Ranga Reddy, Mahbubanagar) Chinna Reddy and Ramulu Naik participated in the Telangana movement and have been serving people with lot of dedication he said.
He sought to know why the TRS regime is not launching the unemployment allowance scheme despite KTR announcing it. “TRS said it will provide Rs 3,016 as monthly unemployment allowance, where has that gone,” he said.
Taking dig at BJP he said: “We are also Hindus, we are not against building temple at Ayodhya , but it BJP led central government which gave land parcels belonging to Ram temple Bhadrachalam to private people.”
