Microsoft’s $7.5 billion purchase of ZeniMax Media, the parent company of game developer Bethesda, is officially complete, Xbox boss Phil Spencer said in a blog post Tuesday. It comes after the US Securities and Exchange Commission and the each approved the deal, which last September.
“Gamers should know that Xbox consoles, PC, and Game Pass will be the best place to experience new Bethesda games, including some new titles in the future that will be exclusive to Xbox and PC players,” Spencer wrote.
To mark the occasion, Microsoft will add “additional Bethesda games” to, its $10-a-month subscription service, later this week.
