Kuwait parliament to hold special session on anti-covid measures on Tuesday
The National Assembly will hold an extraordinary session on Tuesday to discuss a parliamentary motion regarding the government policy and measures in coping with the novel coronavirus and its emerging strains, the parliament speaker announced on Sunday.
Marzouq Ali Al-Ghanim, in a statement at Abdullah Al-Salem Hall, indicated that there was coordination between the legislators who submitted the motion and the government, declaring that His Highness Prime Minister Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah notified him that the government would attend the special session.
He urged the MPs to be subjected to PCR swab tests on Monday, in coordination with the National Assembly General Secretariat, “so everyone will be able to attend the session.”
